The on-going charge for the IFSL Brunsdon Adventurous Growth Fund has reduced from 2.26% to 2.13%, and that for the IFSL Brunsdon Cautious Growth Fund has dropped from 2.07% to 1.98%, making them an even more attractive investment proposition. The charges are likely to reduce even further in the future as the size of the Funds grow.
The performance of the Funds has certainly lived up to our expectations. The results speak for themselves. According to Bloomberg, the global provider of real-time financial news and information, up to the end of March this year, the IFSL Brunsdon Adventurous Growth Fund has returned a very solid 11.9% since launch in October 2011 (6% for the period 31 March 2012 to 31 March 2013), whilst the IFSL Brunsdon Cautious Growth Fund has achieved 9.4% (3.60%, 31 March 2012 to 31 March 2013). And what makes these results even better is that these are the returns after fund charges have been deducted!
An important feature of the Funds is in-built volatility management which helps to ensure that performance will still be acceptable even when the markets are erratic (such as we’ve witnessed in the last couple of months). The Funds are actively managed on a daily basis and are monitored closely by the Brunsdon Investment Committee which ensures that they continually deliver to the original mandate, certainly in terms of the volatility management, which has undoubtedly contributed to the Funds’ success. In just 20 months, we have well over £34,000,000 invested in the IFSL Brunsdon Funds.
